This project was of particular interest to me, I love encorporating biomimicry into my designs and this project was the perfect example of where I could portray many similarities between organic and non-organic forms and structures.

Every aspect of the biomechanical drone is inspired by birds and nature.

The brief I set for myself on this project was to design and construct my own racingdrone. One of the key features of any FPV drone is they have a camera connected to a radio emitter which sends a signal to a goggle headset worn by the operator such that they can pilot the drone from a first-person perspective. The exercise will involve not only producing an ergonomic and aerodynamic chasis and shell, but also the designand assembly of all the electronic hardware.
